Cross-flow nebulizers are a very stable type of nebulizer designed for use with Scott (barrel) style spray chambers. Cross-flow nebulizers are the perfect choice for high solids applications and, being manufactured from PVDF fluorinated polymer, have a high chemical resistance for use with most acids and organic solvents. The cross-flow nebulizer is standard on most HP/Agilent ICP's and may also replace the Hildebrand-grid nebulizer on many Leeman ICP's using a Scott style spray chamber.
